Canada Day London 2008 programme includes (at time of going to press):
30 June from 8pm (bars etc open 6pm) – Canada Rocks Trafalgar Square
- A night of Canadian Music
- Headline performer singer-songwriter Kathleen Edwards with Hard rock band The Trews
- Nuevo Flamenco guitarist Jesse Cook
- Celtic-rooted sibling band The McDades
1st July – Canada Day – from 11am
- Official opening ceremony
- 12noon onwards – Hockey Tournament with teams competing through the day for the Trafalgar Cup
- Chill-out Pavilion, hosted by Alberta, home of the Canadian Rockies, with oxygen bar and massages
- A Taste of Ontario – culinary delights
- Canadian Pavilion – sample Canada’s stunning provinces
- Québec, with partners Tourism Montréal and the Just for Laughs Festival – a day of laughter and fun with Canadian comedians performing live throughout the day in the Québec Fun Pavilion
- Evening musical entertainment from jazz pianist Michael Kasehammer, roots performer John Wort Hannam, folk roots Americana musician Kim Beggs, Jesse Cook and country band Twilight Hotel
