Kathleen Edwards
Canada Day 2008 Headliner Kathleen Edwards is a Canadian singer-songwriter taking the world by storm. Born in Canada’s capital, Ottawa, Kathleen started taking classical violin lessons at the age of five and continued for the next twelve years. This training came in handy when she recorded her debut album Failer for which she played and arranged all the string parts for the record. Her latest album entitled Asking for Flowers was given 4 stars by The Times and Rolling Stone Magazine. Billboard’s “Top Heatseekers” Chart posted the album on their list stating:
